The new Takeuchi NEW TB217R

The UK’s most popular 1.6 tonne mini remains the Takeuchi TB216 and now this favourite hire machine is joined by a short tail swing option TB217R. Offering the same operating performance, the new TB217R provides that added short-tail swing option with a slew radius of just 730mm needed when working in tight working spaces or utilities street works.

With dig depth of 2390mm and dump height of 2545mm helps maximise productivity on site, supported by a longer than average track frame that gives that added stability when digging deep.

Maximum operating performance comes from a Yanmar <19kW Stage V engine with 11.5kW output combined with excellent bucket and arm breakout force of 14kN and 8.2kN.

Access remains key for this compact mini and the extendable track frame from a narrow 900mm out to 1300mm gets this new mini into limited spaces.

Weighing in at just 1680kg the TB217R provides a versatile compact option to the extensive Takeuchi range. Always popular with tool hirers the new Takeuchi model gives hirers an added option to their hire fleets especially where space is a critical factor.
