Plant Fitter/Service Engineer (workshop based) required at our centre in Thatcham near Newbury. 
Your role would be to maintain and repair our extensive and varied construction plant hire fleet to a high standard, as well as service and repairs for customers’ machines and prepare new machines ready for sale.

You will need the following skills and abilities for the role:
•         Experience in servicing and repairing various construction plant equipment 
•         Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems  
•         Have your own tools 
•         Work effectively within a team

You would work as part of a workshop team in a very busy and changeable environment, whilst communicating well with our Parts, Hire and Sales departments. The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem solving skills. We are agents for top brand equipment in an ever changing market and so, to deliver a very high standard to our customers, we will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with overtime available.

Service/Depot Administrator 
This is a full time, office based role based in our busy construction equipment depot in Colthrop, near Thatcham, working with our friendly team of around 15 people in the office and workshop.
 
To be successful you will need:
•          to have office administration experience and knowledge of working to procedures and processes;
•          a good telephone manner; 
•          be computer literate with experience of word and excel; and 
•          be capable of working alone and using your initiative; but also enjoy working as part of a team.
 
The role will include:
•       Ensuring that all parts administration is completed properly and promptly and advising your manager when there are any problems that prevent this from happening.
•       Assisting the hire manager and the service manager with all administration required to meet the company’s procedures.
•       Assisting in producing sales quotations and information packs.
•       Dealing with incoming suppliers' invoices (approving/coding/rejecting as necessary) and sending to the purchase ledger department. 
•      Working flexibly with the other members of the office team, covering their responsibilities when necessary.
Warranty administration and machine stock control.
 
Training will be given where needed and there will be opportunities to progress your career with the company.
 
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with half an hour for lunch (37½ hours per week).

Service Engineer required for CBL Southampton.
Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet, customers’ machines and carry out warranty work on agency products from leading manufacturers.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week.

You will need the following skills / abilities: 
•         Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment
•         Experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
•         Full driving licence required
•         Have your own tools
•         Work effectively within a team
•         Trained to NVQ level 2 Plant Maintenance (preferably level 3)

Area Manager – Hire, Parts and Service - at CBL Saltash

Required at our centre in Saltash, Cornwall, representing our hire, parts and service business covering Devon and Cornwall.  Selling experience and knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.  The right attitude is essential.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a talent for problem solving, be customer focused and sales driven.

You must show the drive to motivate yourself on a daily basis, at times setting your own targets and reporting to the Depot Manager your achievements.  This directly affects the achievements of the internal teams, the Saltash depot and the company as a whole.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
