 Yardperson required at our centre in Saltash

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors to join our construction machinery maintenance team. This position requires heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions. 

The role would include washing machines, assisting engineers with repairs, general housekeeping duties, assisting customers and managing the yard area to a high standard. 

You must have good communication skills and good health and safety awareness as you would be helping customers in our busy yard.  Some knowledge of construction plant/machinery would be preferable but not essential. You should also be customer focused, work well in a team and be self-motivated, well organised and tidy. 

We can offer the right candidate training internally and externally, competitive salary, pension, good holiday pay, life assurance cover and potential for promotion. We will also provide you with all the PPE and materials needed to carry out your role.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week.

Service Engineer (workshop based) required at our centre in Bridgend

Your role would be to maintain and repair our extensive and varied construction plant hire fleet to a high standard, as well as service and repairs for customers’ machines and prepare new machines ready for sale.

You will need the following skills and abilities for the role:
•         Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment 
•         Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems  
•         Have your own tools 
•         Work effectively within a team
•         Preferred but not essential - trained to NVQ level 2 Plant Maintenance (preferably level 3) 

You would work as part of a workshop team in a very busy and changeable environment, whilst communicating well with our Parts, Hire and Sales departments. The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem solving skills. We are agents for top brand equipment in an ever changing market and so, to deliver a very high standard to our customers, we will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week, with overtime available.

Sales Support Co-ordinator required for CBL Bristol
This is a new full time, office based role based at our office in Portbury, Bristol.

You will report to the Depot Manager and assist 3 field based salesmen while working closely with our sales administration department based at Southampton. You will be responsible for all areas of paperwork administration relating to the sale of new and used construction machinery.

The role will include:
Answering the telephone and greeting customers in an efficient and courteous manner.
General office administration. Working to procedures and processes set out by the company.
Communicating with the depot team which consists of office, field based sales team, workshop staff and drivers.
Liaising with customers and suppliers.
Assisting the marketing department to promote CBL.
Assisting in other duties that might arise in an office environment.

The successful candidate will need:
to have office administration experience and knowledge of working to procedures and processes;
a good telephone manner; and 
be computer literate with experience of word and excel.

Training will be given where needed and there will be opportunities for promotion as well as other company benefits within this well established and respected business.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday 8:00 – 17:00 (42.5hrs per week).

Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet, customers’ machines and carry out warranty work on agency products from leading manufacturers.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week.

You will need the following skills / abilities: 
•         Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment
•         Experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
•         Full driving licence required
•         Have your own tools
•         Work effectively within a team
•         Trained to NVQ level 2 Plant Maintenance (preferably level 3)
