Service Manager at our centre in Thatcham, Newbury

As our Service Manager, answering to the Depot Manager, you will have overall control of our busy workshop - managing six fitters, will deal with service and warranty administration, be responsible for controlling costs in maintaining the hire fleet and ensuring it is serviced and maintained to a required standard.  You will also be the responsible person at the depot for Health & Safety.  Your sound background in the plant hire industry, along with your technical experience, will enable you to plan and organise the work efficiently so providing our customers with a high quality service.

Hire Manager required for CBL Saltash

This is a full time/permanent role to support the Depot Manager at our Saltash centre and working with him to assist the management/supervisor team in the smooth running of the depot, yard and workshop, predominantly with the hire and transport department but ultimately spread across all our departments. 

The ideal candidate should have experience within the Construction Hire Industry and a sales and customer service ethos. Some knowledge on HGVs and health and safety culture within the construction trade is preferable, but not essential. 
 
The successful candidate will be working alongside various department managers, assisting them to achieve their targets, implement new and proven practices and provide support with their customer, supplier and staffing requirements. 
 
You will need to work well in a team and be self-motivated, work well under pressure whilst keeping customer service as your top priority and promoting a good health and safety culture. 
 
Training will be given where needed and there will be opportunities for promotion as well as other company benefits within this well established and respected business.
 
Salary: Competitive.  Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:00 (42.5hrs per week) with occasional evenings and weekends.

Sales Support Administrator.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional person to work in an office based sales support role at our depot in Thatcham, Newbury - ideally someone who has worked in a similar Sales Administration/Support role before, but good experience in an administration role is also acceptable.

As a Sales Support Administrator, you will work closely with our yard manager and will be responsible for maintaining the stock list of new and used construction machines in our sales yard.  You will be aware of stock availability, booking machines in and out, administering machine movements and supporting our purchasing team.

This role will suit someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a fast moving environment.  You should have good organisational and numeracy skills, be able to multi-task and organise and prioritise effectively.  You will also have excellent written and spoken English, a confident telephone manner, good Excel, Word and Outlook skills and an ability to work independently as well as part of the wider sales support team.

Mobile Service Engineer required at our centre in Horsham, Crawley. Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet and customers' machines and carry out warranty work on agency products. 

This is a permanent role, Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

You will need the following skills / abilities for the role of mobile fitter / service engineer:
•         Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment 
•         Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems 
•         Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential) 
•         Have a full clean driving licence 
•         Have your own tools 
•         Work effectively within a team
