Due to business growth we are looking for additional drivers to join our team.  Categories: B + E and C + E, to drive a full spec plant lorry delivering and collecting construction equipment & towing behind a Iveco Daily.

Role: You will be responsible for the successful delivery and collection of plant as well as ensuring the working order of your vehicle and safely securing all loads carried.  Duties also include: planning delivery schedules and routes; loading and unloading contractors’ plant machinery; making sure loads are safely secured; following traffic reports and altering your route if necessary; completing delivery paperwork.

Service Engineer (mobile) vacancy at our centre in Portbury, nr Bristol
 
Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet and customers' machines and carry out warranty work on agency products.

This is a permanent role, Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

You would work as part of a workshop and mobile based team in a very busy and changeable environment, whilst communicating well with our Parts, Hire and Sales departments. The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem-solving skills. The company will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.

You will need the following skills / abilities for the role of workshop fitter / service engineer:

Experience in servicing and repairing various contractors’ plant equipment
Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential)
Work effectively within a team
Have a full driving licence 
Have your own tools 
Work effectively within a team

Area Hire Manager at our centre in Thatcham Berkshire

Required at our centre in Thatcham, Berkshire representing our hire business covering Newbury and outlying areas.  Selling experience and knowledge of the construction industry is preferred. The right attitude is essential.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a talent for problem solving, be customer focused and sales driven.

You must show the drive to motivate yourself on a daily basis, at times setting your own targets and reporting to the Depot Manager your achievements. This directly affects the achievements of the internal teams, the Thatcham depot and the company as a whole.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, 8.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
