35 years at CBL for Andrew Holman

Yesterday we celebrated with Andy Holman his 35 years with CBL with a buffet lunch and a gift to mark the event. 

Andy started in 1987 with AB Hire/Services in Bridgend with 3 other staff as a general all-rounder -washing, tidying and delivering the small items of plant the company ran at the time.  After coming back from his honeymoon, Andy found out he had been made redundant!  Then, a week later, his neighbour, Terry Sweetman, manager at the time said to Andy, ‘come in work in plant hire’.  Andy’s response was, ‘I know nothing about flowers!!!!!!’ 

Andy, who has been our Area Hire Manager for many years, is an integral part of team CBL, where he can be relied on throughout the company with his wealth of experience.  Thank you Andy for the years of dedication.

Unfortunately a few team members were missing from the photo call due to deliveries and outside work but Andy is in the centre in a white shirt, receiving his gift from Tim Hanson, Depot Manager.
