YHC dig deep

YHC Hire Solutions have just taken delivery of 49 Takeuchi mini excavators in a six figure deal from CBL that will both bolster and update the company’s range of small plant, enabling them to offer their customers the highest quality equipment on the market coupled with exemplary service.

The deal comprises 7 x TB210R Micro Excavators, 20 x TB216 Mini Excavators & 22 x TB230 Mini Excavators. The TB210R Micro Excavator tips the scales at 1180kgs and is powered by a 3 cylinder Kubota engine offering a power output rating of 8.7kw @2200RPM, reach at ground level is 3220mm with a maximum dig depth of 1755mm.

The 1.5 tonne class TB216, the replacement for the hugely popular TB016, has an operating weight of 1680kgs and is powered by a 3 cylinder Yanmar engine, which offers a power output rating of 11.1kw @2400RPM. Reach at ground level is 4035mm with a maximum dig depth of 2340mm.

Officially launched at Intermat last year, the 3 tonne class TB230, which weighs in at 2950kgs, once again takes its power from a 3 cylinder Yanmar engine, rated at  17.6kw @2400RPM. Reach at ground level is 4710mm and dig depth is 2165mm.

All the machines have been supplied with a full set of new buckets, manual quick hitches and have received YHC’s distinctive corporate purple paintwork on the counterweights.

Talking about the deal, YHC Hire Solutions Managing Director Andy Parker said, “YHC have been a long standing customer of Clive Barford Ltd & the choice to remain with the Takeuchi brand was an easy one for us. Takeuchi provides versatile, powerful & robust machines that are simple, easy to operate, accessible to service and are the popular choice for hirers in the South West”.

Operations Director Jim Patch added, “We like the Takeuchi product and it’s what our customers want from us, in addition we have a great working relationship with Clive Barford Ltd which works well for us”.

CBL Area Sales Manager Phil Hooper said, “I’ve built up a great relationship with YHC Hire Solutions over the years and it’s great to be able to offer them what we feel is without doubt the best product on the market today”.
Yeovil based YHC Hire Solutions operate six depots across the West Country, offering a one stop plant and tool hire service, with satellite depots in Bridgwater, Chard, Glastonbury, Weston Super Mare and Wincanton.
